Chris Hamamoto's interactive classes are hosting Marcin Wichary for a Q/A starting at 6pm, that you are welcome to attend online here.
Marcin Wichary is a designer and typographer based in San Francisco. Originally from Poland, Marcin has worked at Google, Medium, and Figma β where he is currently a design manager. He has worked on countless projects with global reach, including enhancement to Google search, transforming the Google logo into a playable version of Pac-Man, shaping the writing experience at Medium, and working on crucial parts of Figmaβs experience (such as text rendering, auto layout, and links).
Additionally, he maintains an independent practice centered around research and publishing which has led him to: surfacing lesser-known histories of the Bay Area urban environment; translating/subtitling/screening a Polish TV sitcom satirizing late-stage Capitalism for a San Francisco audience. He is currently finishing writing βShift Happens,β a book on the history of keyboards and typing.For Tuesday

Final Crit will be Tuesday May 5th, we'll do the same format as we did for P2, where we respond to each others projects in this document on Tuesday before class begins, and I'll run through everyone's projects on my computer.
Please be prepared for crit with final outcomes, though I won't start grading P3 til after class on Thursday May 7th when the class formally ends, please try and have your work as final as possible for Tuesday. Remember, this is mostly about giving you time to get your level 3 work together.
